LEVEL 1: JUNIOR

The Math Level 1: Junior course is designed to help 3rd graders understand not just the basics of what they are learning in school, but also to expand upon those topics and gain proficiency in problem-solving and strategies.

LEVEL 2: INTERMEDIATE

The Math Level 2: Intermediate course is the second stepping stone in the TECHROVA Enrichment Club’s Math curriculum. It seeks to prepare 4th and 5th graders for higher-level thinking. This course is designed to improve problem-solving and stimulate critical thinking skills in the students. Math Level 2 prepares students for problem solving and accelerated math competitions like Math League and Math Kangaroo. The key is to encourage students to enjoy a challenge and to start finding out-of-the-box solutions.

LEVEL 3: SENIOR

The Math Level 3: Senior course, also known as Pre-Algebra, is designed to further advanced 5th grade and 6th grade students’ knowledge of competition level mathematics. The underlying premise of this course consists of elementary operations with algebraic techniques and applying those techniques to word problems and real-world scenarios. This course utilizes the book “Art of Problem Solving: Pre-Algebra” to supplement the students’ understanding of mathematical reasoning. This course is designed to introduce students to the level of difficulty found in competitions such as AMC 8, Mathcounts, and Math Olympiads.
